Designed for interior decorative use, this chrome enamel paint UK formula delivers smooth application, strong opacity and a durable tarnish-free surface that transforms everything from fine details to statement furniture accents with high gloss chrome finish and polished-metal impact.
Our Chrome enamel is a refined brush-on alternative to plating, foils and standard silver paints. Favoured by modelmakers, restorers, decorative artists, furniture painters and makers, it creates a high-shine metallic effect with the ease of brush application.
Formulated with an advanced reflective pigment system, Chrome levels beautifully as it dries. Specialist pigments settle close to the surface in a smooth, uniform layer, allowing light to reflect with exceptional brilliance. The result is a polished-metal finish that feels intentional, refined and built to last.

1. Prepare the surface
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or residue. For the clearest mirror-like reflection, apply to the smoothest surface possible. Porous or textured materials should be sealed or primed before use. Use in a well-ventilated area.
2. Stir well
Stir slowly and thoroughly to maintain metallic clarity and distribute pigments evenly while minimising air bubbles.
3. Apply Chrome
Use a high-quality synthetic brush and apply in thin, even coats using smooth strokes. Avoid over-brushing, as the reflective pigments settle best when left undisturbed. Chrome may also be used with an airbrush by experienced users using suitable equipment.
4. Build your finish
Allow 24 hours between coats. One coat provides excellent metallic coverage and dries in approx 4hrs. Apply a second coat for greater smoothness, depth and reflectivity.
5. Aftercare
No topcoat is required. Once cured, avoid excessive rubbing or abrasion, as this may soften the mirror effect over time.
6. Aftercare & Clean up
Clean brushes and tools using white spirit or turpentine. Do not use water.

For standard shipping, we aim to deliver orders within 3-5 working days of receiving your order. For express shipping we aim for 1-2 working days, depending on destination.

Chrome is suitable for Metal, Glass, Mirror, Glazed Ceramic, Plastic, Polished Stone, Sealed or varnished surfaces, Primed wood, Resin models and figurines, Picture frames, Furniture detailing and hardware accents, Miniatures and scale models, Sign making and lettering work, Decorative props and display pieces.
Designed for interior decorative use. Chrome performs best on smooth, non-porous and properly prepared surfaces. All surfaces must be clean and dry before painting. For the clearest reflection, the smoother the surface, the more mirror-like the final result will appear. Textured or porous surfaces can still be painted beautifully, though the reflection will appear softer and more diffused.
