Designed not to cover, but to become part of the material, it soaks into fabric, raw wood and other porous surfaces, bringing out grain, weave and texture in a way ordinary paints simply cannot. Applied to a porous surface, Bleo is self-sealing, and no additional top coat is required on most surfaces.

Where Bleo works best
Bleo works best on porous, absorbent materials where colour is intended to soak into the surface rather than sit on top. It works beautifully on textiles such as upholstery, clothing and canvas, as well as untreated wood, terracotta, cork and other natural materials.

Premium British-made, water-based gel paint developed with a fabric-responsive formula and high pigment concentration.
It absorbs into porous surfaces to form a durable bond without masking the material, so fabrics remain soft and flexible. Smooth flow and excellent workability suit layering, washes and blended effects.

Coverage depends on surface absorbency, texture and material type. Highly porous or high-pile fabrics such as velvet may require more paint or additional coats, and lighter shades may need extra layering for full opacity. Weather can affect drying times. For best results, avoid painting in high humidity or extreme temperatures.
How to use Bleo
1. Prepare the surface
Ensure the surface is porous, dry and clean. Lightly sand wood to open the grain if needed.
2. Shake & apply
On fabric, brush, dab or use a sponge. On wood, apply with a brush.
3. Dilute with water
This is optional for lighter tones or a more translucent Scandinavian wash on wood.
4. Build your layers
Deeper, more opaque colour is achieved with additional coats of Bleo.
5. Drying & sealing
Bleo is self-sealing on many porous surfaces and waterproof once fully dry.
