The first signs of festive cheer are here, and there's no better way to welcome them than with a personal touch.

Painting baubles is a simple, soothing way to slow down and reconnect with creativity. With just a handful of materials, you can create a thoughtful gift for a loved one, or a simple piece for you to treasure for years to come.

A few jars of paint, some quality brushes and a quiet evening to yourself is all you need to get started. Tie it all together with soft, velvet ribbon to hang your creation from the branch of your Christmas tree, with metallic touches glistening in the twinkling lights.

We used Jubilee Rail Blue and created Bronze stars with GILD Originals,
finished with a moon of Super GILD Platinum for a celestial glow.
